Application process

Our application process is straightforward. First, create a profile on the GSK careers portal. Then, complete the application form with your academic details and confirm your eligibility for the role's location. You can upload your CV, and while cover letters are not required, you have the option to include one.

Be accurate

Ensure you meet the role's criteria. If basic role qualifications are not met, your application may be automatically declined.

In most countries, you'll complete our GSK Digital Assessment – an online, interactive assessment. This helps us understand how your strengths, behaviours, and skills align with the role. Some roles may also require a video interview. You don't need prior GSK or healthcare knowledge to succeed. If you don't receive the assessment link, check your spam folder.

Be timely

You'll get an email invitation for the GSK Digital Assessment after applying. You have seven days to complete it, so don't delay. Part of the assessment is timed, so manage your time effectively. Don't worry if you can't finish all timed questions; your results will still be considered.

Be prepared

Have a pen, paper, and calculator ready for notes and numerical questions.

Check your internet

Ensure a reliable internet connection before starting.

Take care

Read instructions carefully and complete the assessment in a quiet, distraction-free environment when you feel most energised.

AI usage guidance

At GSK, we believe in the ethical and effective use of AI tools to enhance your job application process. We encourage candidates to follow these guidelines to ensure a successful and authentic application experience:

• Use Gen AI to help you structure your responses or application documents, check your language and clarity, and use it as a preparation tool.
• Don’t use Gen AI to replace your original thoughts, to complete assessments designed to evaluate your personality and natural abilities, or to assist you in a live interview/assessment centre, as it impacts your authenticity and engagement, preventing us from seeing the “real” you.

This live experience, held either virtually or face-to-face at a GSK site, offers a deeper look into working at a world-leading global biopharma company. It’s your chance to ask questions, meet potential colleagues, and experience our culture first-hand.

You’ll spend half a day on immersive exercises, supported by GSK hiring managers. These might include individual tasks, a group or paired exercise, and an interview. Depending on your chosen programme, you may also give a presentation or complete a practical/technical exercise. Full details will be in your assessment centre invitation.
