What makes you, you?

I’m passionate about learning. I completed my CIMA qualification in 2008 but have continued to learn and develop through new work experiences and additional training.

What’s the best thing about working here?

What I enjoy most is getting involved in lots of different work. Every year, I’ve had a different role as I have sought new opportunities.

What are your highlights?

I graduated with a degree in geography, and joined our three-year finance graduate scheme. My first year was in global manufacturing and supply; my second in research and development; and my third in corporate treasury. It was fantastic seeing different areas of the company from a finance perspective. Graduates here are friendly and social. I’ve had several holidays away with them and they’ve become friends for life.

Since the scheme, I’ve had four different roles with increasing responsibility. I’m now in Consumer Healthcare analytics, responsible for the promotional analytics strategy that we are scaling across the world. My role is strategic, so I can add real value to the company.

How have we supported your development?

On the graduate scheme, I gained my CIMA qualification. This was fully financed by the company and I was given leave to complete my studies. Since then, I’ve done the AMCT Treasury and the PRINCE2 project management qualifications.

What would you say to someone thinking of joining us?

Be open-minded, and get to know the people you’re working with – they can help you in your career.
